Life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes, even the strongest women find themselves in a difficult season, unsure of where to turn next. That’s where Gracewood steps in—offering hope, healing, and a fresh start.

Gracewood is a truly special organization that provides a faith-based, residential program for single mothers and their children who are facing challenging circumstances. Whether due to trauma, loss, or financial hardship, these women are welcomed into a safe, home-like environment where they can begin to rebuild.

What sets Gracewood apart is the personalized care and wraparound support each family receives. Moms are given the tools to succeed—from individual and group therapy, parenting and financial guidance, to trauma-informed care from a professional and compassionate staff. The goal? To keep families together while helping them grow stronger—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Children at Gracewood thrive in a healthy community where they can learn, grow, and feel secure. And the support doesn’t stop when a family leaves the program. Gracewood’s aftercare program continues to walk alongside these women, ensuring they remain empowered and on track.

Gracewood also extends its arms to young adults aging out of foster care or facing homelessness, giving them a safe place to land and the skills needed for independent living.

As a single mom of two amazing daughters, one now a full-time RN and the other preparing to start college in 2025, I know how much strength it takes to walk that path. I’ve been there—and now I’m in a place where I want to help others succeed.
